Moses experienced this truth while tending sheep in the wilderness when the Lord appeared in the form of a bush that was burning—but not consumed. He was instructed to remove his sandals because he was “standing on holy ground.”
Today, Christians don’t need to find God in the wilderness when He constantly pursues the lost and curious. The Bible says, “I will search for the lost and bring back the strays.
